Warranty
Prime Tech, Inc. warrants all Prime Tech Outrigger pads against breaks or cracks resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. Subject to the exclusions and limitations outlined in this warranty, Prime Tech will address defects by replacing the defective product at no charge for labor. Alternatively, Prime Tech, Inc. may choose to issue a refund or credit to the purchaser based on the depreciation calculation provided below. This warranty becomes void if the posted capacity rating or allowable load rating is exceeded at any time after the initial purchase. The customer is responsible for the shipping/freight costs of replacements.
This warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects and does not extend to damage caused by operator or customer misuse, such as bridging, exceeding weight capacity, neglect, overloading, accidents, drilling holes, alterations or modifications of pads, abrasion, normal wear and tear, or damage during transport. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded.
The warranty provided herein is limited to the original purchase price less depreciation. Depreciation is calculated over a 20-year usage period based on the original purchase price. For example, if a pad cracks after 12 years and the purchase price was $400, with records showing consistent adherence to weight guidelines, the credit/refund will be calculated as follows:
$400 divided by 20 years = $20 per year; 12 years of usage = 12 x $20 = $240; the credit will be $400 – $240 = $160.
Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice. Please inspect your product after each use. Small size tolerances are unavoidable due to cutting and blade variations; we strive to maintain tolerances to +/- 1/4″ per side or +/- 3/4″ per diameter.
No warranty is provided for defects caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, scratches, accidents, or unauthorized field use and modifications.
No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond Prime Tech’s control including, but not limited to overloading, misuse, spanning of voids, or actions in contradiction with Prime Tech’s usage guidelines.
This warranty applies only to standard use conditions. Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed. This warranty covers only crushing, cracking, or breaking of the product under normal use, and does not cover any damage caused by misuse, abrasion, accidents, neglect, normal wear and tear or transport damage. No warranty is given for defects caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, scratches, accidents, or unapproved field modifications and alterations. We require certified usage records as well as photographs of the damaged pads.
Handles are excluded from any warranty. They are considered wear and tear items and can easily be replaced by the customer.
Disclaimer of liability replacement or repair of a defective product or the issuance of a refund or credit is a purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty. Damage to purchaser’s cargo, property, vehicles, equipment, and/or to any person or other property is expressively excluded. This warranty is expressly made in lieu of any and all other warranties. Prime Tech’s sole liability to any purchaser is limited to the remedy set forth above. In no event will Prime Tech be liable for any lost sales, lost profits, or for any consequential, indirect, direct, incidental or punitive damages or for any other damages of any kind or nature. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not be applicable. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and they may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
